Characteristics

Lip 6–6.5 × 5.5–7.5 mm, papillose within, 3-lobed at about halfway, with a callus forming a papillose, fleshy ridge from the base to the centre; mid-lobe ovate, acute or obtuse; side lobes erect, semi-elliptic, obtuse or rounded.

Inflorescence (floral axis) erect, 5–7.5 cm long, with 1 branch near the base, subtended by 2 compressed acute sheaths, fairly densely many-flowered. Peduncle and rhachis pubescent.
Dorsal sepal 6.5 × 3 mm, oblong-ovate, acute to acuminate; lateral sepals 7–7.5 × 6.5 mm, obliquely ovate-triangular; mentum 5.5 mm high, conical, sometimes curved.
Pseudobulbs 7–8 cm × 3 mm, narrowly cylindrical, covered by 3–4 tubular, scarious, deciduous sheaths, 1-leafed.
Leaf 10–13 × 1–1.5 cm, narrowly ligulate to narrowly oblanceolate, obtuse, conduplicate at the base.
Flowers fleshy, medium yellow in colour; the sepals ovary and pedicel all pubescent.
Erect epiphytic or lithophytic herb 18–22 cm tall; pseudobulbs clustered.
Petals 5.5 × 1.5–2 mm, oblanceolate, acute.
Bracts 2–6 × 1.5 mm, lanceolate, acuminate.
