Leaves linear, grass-like, 4.5–17 cm. long, 5–6 mm. wide, acute.. Inflorescence erect, cylindrical, 4–10 cm. long, racemose, subtended at base by 1–2 long compressed acuminate sheaths, the upper sheath more or less overlapping the basal flowers; bracts setaceous, 1–4 mm. long.. Flowers white or pink.. Dorsal sepal ovate, 2.5 mm. long, 1.6 mm. wide, shortly acuminate; lateral sepals slightly obliquely ovate or oblong-ovate, acute, 3 mm. long, 1.7 mm. wide; mentum obscurely rounded.. Petals elliptic, subacute, 2.5 mm. long, 1.5 mm. wide..
