Characteristics

A pendulous epiphytic plant.. Stems (or pseudobulbs) superposed, given off from the middle of the preceeding growth, cylindrical or more or less fusiform, 4–12 cm. long, 3–4 mm. wide, covered at first with leaf-bases, 3–5-leaved above.. Leaves more or less spreading, lanceolate or ligulate-oblong, acute, 2–8 cm. long, 5–15 mm. wide.. Inflorescence laxly branching, 4–7 cm. long, many-flowered; branches 3–4; peduncle slender, slightly compressed, pubescent, 2–3 cm. long; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, 1.5–6 mm. long.. Flowers spreading, glabrous, green with a yellow-green lip, anther brown or crimson.. Dorsal sepal slightly incurved, elliptic-oblong, concave, obtuse, 4–5 mm. long, 2.5 mm. wide; lateral sepals obliquely triangular-ovate, apiculate, 6 mm. long, 4.5–5 mm. wide, forming with the column-foot a broadly rounded mentum 3.5 mm. long, 3 mm. wide, shortly bilobed at apex.. Petals spathulate-oblong, rounded at apex, 3.5 mm. long, 1.25 mm. wide.. Lip strongly curved, broadly clawed, 3-lobed, 5.5 mm. long, 3.5 mm. wide, margins recurved; side lobes short, rotund; mid-lobe broadly quadrate-ovate, more or less truncate, fleshy, rugulose, 2.25 mm. long, 2.8 mm. wide, margins crenulate, apex recurved, Column semiterete, 2–2.5 mm. long.
