Inflorescence (floral axis) usually shorter than the leaves, 3–7 cm long, few-flowered; peduncle and rhachis densely pubescent, the peduncle almost covered by 2–3 scarious sheaths.
Sepals sparsely pubescent on the outside; dorsal sepal 9–14 × 3.5–5 mm, ovate; lateral sepals 13–14.5 × 7–8.5 mm, obliquely triangular, acute; mentum 5–8 mm high, broadly conical.
Lip 11.5–14.5 × 9–10 mm, recurved, shortly clawed, 3-lobed at about the middle, clavate-pubescent all over; mid-lobe up to 8 × 9 mm, subquadrate; side lobes erect, rounded.
Flowers relatively large, with a musky smell; sepals greenish-yellow, petals and lip white, the lip with a yellow central line.
Pseudobulbs up to 10 × 7 mm, conical, covered in scarious sheaths, usually 2-leaved.
Leaves 8–15 cm × 5–8 mm, linear, grass-like, dark green with a few purple marks.
Disk with a fleshy keel to the base of the mid-lobe.
Petals 9–12 × 3.5–4 mm, oblanceolate, subacute.
Pedicel and ovary 6 mm long, arched, pubescent.
Bracts c. 4 mm long, ovate, acuminate.
Epiphytic herb up to c. 20 cm high.
Column 4.5 mm long.
