Pseudobulbs emitted from a stout terete short rhizome, compressed bilaterally, ancipitous, appressed to substrate, up to 4.5 cm. long, 1.7 cm. in diameter, 1-leafed, at the apex, subtended by 2–3 distichous, leaf-bearing cataphylls.. Leaves narrowly oblong, suberect-spreading, rounded and unequally bilobed at the apex, up to 23 cm. long, 2.8 cm. broad, articulated to a conduplicate leaf-base.. Inflorescence erect, simple or commonly 1–5-branched, pubescent, laxly to subdensely many-flowered; bracts narrowly lanceolate, long-acuminate, up to 15 mm. long, 2 mm. broad.. Flowers very pubescent on outer surface, creamy-white with 2 orange marks on the lip.. Dorsal sepal narrowly lanceolate, acuminate, 10–12 mm. long, 2–3.5 mm. broad; lateral sepals obliquely narrowly lanceolate, acuminate, 10–15 mm. long, 5 mm. broad, forming with the column-foot a rather rounded mentum 4 mm. high..
