Pseudobulbs few to numerous, superposed, the new ones arising from apical half of the pseudobulb produced in the previous season, often hanging in long chains; each pseudobulb up to 20 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, narrowly cylindrical with several nodes, covered in scarious sheaths, 5–8-leaved.
Lip fleshy, slightly recurved, 4.5–6.5 × 3–4 mm, with a long claw, 3-lobed in the apical half; mid-lobe c. 4 × 3 mm, broadly ovate, apiculate; side lobes erect, oblong; callus a fleshy, sometimes pubescent, transverse ridge between the side lobes.
Dorsal sepal 3–5 × 2–2.5 mm, ovate, acuminate; lateral sepals 6.8–9.5 × 4–5.5 mm, obliquely ovate, acuminate; mentum 3–5 mm high, cylindrical.
Leaves 5–11 cm × 2–5 mm, linear, grass-like, bright green, slightly 2-lobed at the apex.
Inflorescence (floral axis) 1–3 cm long, overtopped by the leaves, 3–8-flowered.
Erect or pendulous epiphytic herb, often forming large clumps.
Bracts 1.5–2.5 mm long, narrowly lanceolate, long acuminate.
Flowers creamy-white with a yellow lip, primrose-scented.
Petals 3–3.5 × 1–1.5 mm, linear to oblanceolate, acute.
Pedicel and ovary 4 mm long, arched.
