Stems clustered, pseudobulbous, conical, completely covered by persistent leaf-bases, 1.5–1.3 cm. long, 1.5–3 cm. in diameter at the base, from a short thick rhizome, 0.6–0.9 cm. in diameter, 4–8-leaved.. Leaves distichous, arcuate, narrowly linear-lanceolate to oblanceolate, conduplicate, acute, 20–36 cm. long, 1.6–2.3 cm. wide, prominently many-nerved.. Inflorescence much larger than the leaves, up to 92 cm. long, 1–3 branched at apex; peduncle covered by numerous imbricating acute sheaths; branches arcuate, fleshy, 2.5 mm. in diameter, up to 7 cm. long; bracts setose, 5–9 mm. long.. Flowers large, pale pink.. Dorsal sepal narrowly oblong-lanceolate, subacute, 19–21 mm. long, 5 mm. wide; lateral sepals obliquely and narrowly oblong-lanceolate, rounded to obtuse, 18–20 mm. long, 5.5–6.5 mm. wide; mentum 5 mm. high..
