Leaves distichous, arcuate, narrowly linear-lanceolate to oblanceolate, conduplicate, acute, 20–36 cm. long, 1.6–2.3 cm. wide, prominently many-nerved.. Inflorescence much larger than the leaves, up to 92 cm. long, 1–3 branched at apex; peduncle covered by numerous imbricating acute sheaths; branches arcuate, fleshy, 2.5 mm. in diameter, up to 7 cm. long; bracts setose, 5–9 mm. long.. Flowers large, pale pink..
