Characteristics

An epiphytic plant to 10 cm. high.. Stems clustered, on a short ascending rhizome, pseudobulbous or obscurely pseudobulbous, with an obvious node in middle, conical or subpyriform, 1 cm. long, 0.45 cm. in diameter, about 4-leaved.. Leaves suberect, distichous, spaced at 1 cm. intervals, obliquely angled, linear or slightly tapering towards apex, subacute or minutely unequally bilobed at apex, 6,3 cm. long, 0.85 cm. wide, articulated to an ancipitous sheathing base, 0.9–2.6 cm. long.. Inflorescence erect, shorter than the leaves, ± 4-flowered, 4.5 cm. long; peduncle pubescent, subtended by an ancipitous acute sheath; bracts lanceolate, acuminate, 7 mm. long.. Flowers pubescent on outer surface, with green tepals lined with red, lip whitish lined with red; pedicel and ovary densely pubescent.. Dorsal sepal lanceolate, acute, 8 mm. long, 4 mm. wide; lateral sepals falcate-lanceolate, acute, 11 mm. long, 7 mm. wide, forming with the column-foot a broadly conical mentum 5 mm. high.. Petals linear-lanceolate, slightly falcate, acute, 9 mm. long, 2 mm. wide.. Lip shortly clawed, ecallose, papillose, 3-lobed just below the middle, 11 mm. long, 9 mm. wide; side lobes erect, falcately oblong, rounded at apex; mid-lobe subquadrate-orbicular, apiculate, margins undulate-erose..
