An erect epiphytic (or rarely lithophytic) plant 20–42 cm. long.. Pseudobulbs subglobose to narrowly conical, enclosed by leaf-bases at first, 2–4.5 cm. long, 0.6–1.5 cm. diameter, 4–8-leaved.. Leaves oblanceolate to narrowly oblong-elliptic, rounded to subacute and minutely unequally bilobed at the apex, 13–26 cm. long, 2.8–4.2 cm. wide, veins prominent on lower surface.. Inflorescence erect, paniculate, equal to or longer than the leaves, 10–30 cm. long; peduncle to 15 cm. long, covered by 1–3 scarious sheaths; branches 6–15, spreading, puberulous, many-flowered, to 6.5 cm. long; bracts ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, 3–4 mm. long, 2 mm. wide.. Flowers ± downy-pubescent on outer surface, fragrant, white, dull red-brown or pale green, flushed or striped red or purple on sepals; lip white, mid-lobe ± pink marked; callus yellow towards apex.. Dorsal sepal ovate, acuminate, 5 mm. long, 2.5–3 mm. wide; lateral sepals obliquely ovate, apiculate, 8.2–8.5 mm. long, 4–5.6 mm. wide, forming with the column-foot a conical mentum 4–5.4 mm. high.. Petals obliquely spathulate or oblanceolate, rounded, obtuse or minutely apiculate at apex, 4.6–5 mm. long, 1–1.5 mm. wide..
