Inflorescence longer than the leaf, a 2–8 branched panicle, 6–17.5 cm. long, up to 60-flowered; peduncle slender to stout, up to 7.5 cm. long, ± sparsely pubescent, basal sheath membranous; bracts triangular-ovate, apiculate, amplexicaul, 1–2.5 mm. long.. Flowers yellow or greenish yellow, spotted with magenta..
