Characteristics

Inflorescence (floral axis) 2.5–5 cm tall, equalling or overtopping the leaves, densely 1–4-flowered; peduncle 7–13 mm long, with 1 or 2 sheaths c. 5 mm long at the base. Rhachis shortly pubescent. Bracts 1.5–3 mm long, lanceolate, acuminate.

Lip 3-lobed, 5.5–7.5 mm long, recurved, hard to flatten, lacking a callus; mid-lobe 3 × 3.25 mm, ± orbicular to broadly ovate; side lobes 1.8 × 1.5 mm, triangular, rounded, decurrent on mid-lobe.
Dorsal sepal 4–5.5 × 1.5–2.2 mm, lanceolate-elliptic to elliptic; lateral sepals 7.6 × 3.5–4.8 mm, obliquely ovate, forming with the column foot a ± cylindrical mentum 3.5–4.5 mm high.
Flowers 2–3(4), spreading, scented, greenish-white, the lip brighter green, column and anther purple.
