A medium-sized epiphytic herb to 22 cm. tall with a short creeping rhizome.. Pseudobulbs approximate, somewhat oblique, narrowly conical to subcylindric, 3–4 cm. long, 0.4–0.8 cm. in diameter, 2-leaved at apex.. Leaves conduplicate, narrowly oblanceolate, subacute, 12–18.5 cm. long, 1–1.8 cm. in diameter, drying dark brown, articulate at base to a conduplicate sheath 1–1.5 cm. long.. Inflorescence erect, 8–13 cm. long, 5–8-flowered; peduncle compressed, up to 8 cm. long, pubescent, with a lanceolate acuminate sterile bract towards the middle; rhachis pubescent; bracts falcate in side view, ovate-elliptic, acuminate, 6–9 mm. long, with erose margins.. Flowers very fleshy, sparsely pubescent on outer surface, creamy with a green flush towards the base of the sepals; lip white flushed pink on the margins; ovary and pedicel 0.8–1.1 cm. long, pubescent.. Dorsal sepal elliptic, subacute, 10 mm. long, 5 mm. broad; lateral sepals obliquely ovate-triangular, acute, 11–12 mm. long, 7 mm. broad, forming with the column-foot a subconical mentum 4.5–5 mm. high.. Petals narrowly elliptic, obtuse, 7–8.5 mm. long, 2–2.5 mm. broad.. Lip strongly recurved at base of mid-lobe, 3-lobed, ± 8 mm. long, 5 mm. broad, but difficult to flatten, pubescent in basal half; side lobes erect, rounded; mid-lobe ovate, acute; callus between side lobes fleshy, pubescent or papillose.. Column 1.5 mm. long; pollinia 4 of two sizes; stips subquadrate, short; viscidium elliptic.
