Characteristics

Lip 8 × 5 mm when flattened, sparsely pubescent, 3-lobed in the apical half with a low callus at the junction of the lobes; mid-lobe obovate or subquadrate, truncate, verrucose; side lobes erect, rounded.

Dorsal sepal 4.5 × 2.8 mm, elliptic, subacute; lateral sepals 5.2 × 6 mm, obliquely triangular, acute, forming a prominent cylindrical mentum 4–5 mm long, rounded at the apex.
Leaf erect, 12–15 × 0.5–0.7 cm, narrowly linear, rounded or mucronate at the apex, articulated to a basal sheath 1–2 mm long.
Inflorescence (floral axis) c. 8 cm long, erect, racemose but appearing ± umbellate, 3–5-flowered.
