Lip 8–9 × 5.5–6 mm, recurved, 3-lobed at about the middle, with an elongated brownish callus with clavate hairs at the junction of the lobes; mid-lobe c. 4 × 3 mm, ovate, acute; side lobes erect, triangular, obtuse.
Sepals pubescent on the outside; dorsal sepal 7–10 × 3 mm, lanceolate, acute; lateral sepals 8–11 × 4–5 mm, obliquely triangular; mentum c. 4 mm long.
Epiphytic or lithophytic herb to c. 35 cm high, forming chains of closely set pseudobulbs, sometimes flowering when leafless.
Leaves 8–25 × 0.8–1.2 cm, linear, slightly 2-lobed at the apex, usually deciduous during the dry season.
Inflorescence (floral axis) longer than leaves, simple or with a few short branches, several-flowered.
Flowers primrose-scented, with brownish-green sepals and greenish-white petals and lip.
Pseudobulbs 1.5–4 × 0.7–1.3 cm, conical, rather asymmetrical, 1–3-leaved.
