An epiphytic herb, 16–37 cm. high.. Pseudobulbs from a short creeping rhizome, loosely clustered, cylindrical to narrowly conical, compressed, 5.7–11 cm. long, 7.5–10 cm. in diameter, clothed in 3 membranous basal sheaths.. Leaf lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, obtuse, cuneate at the base, 12–26 cm. long, 9.5–30 mm. broad, coriaceous, articulated 1 mm. above the apex of the pseudobulb.. Inflorescence shorter than the leaf, simply racemose, 4–9 cm. long, up to 10 flowers borne successively; peduncle stout, 2.7–5.6 cm. long, with an inflated papery basal sheath; bracts ovate-triangular, amplexicaul, 3–5.3 mm. long.. Flowers white, fragrant.. Dorsal sepal ovate-triangular, shortly apiculate, 8.7–12 mm. long, 4.5–7.5 mm. broad; lateral sepals obliquely triangular or ovate-triangular, 8.5–12 mm. long, 4.5–9.5 mm. broad; mentum conical, to 9.5 mm. high.. Petals elliptic to ovate, acute or obtuse, 8–13 mm. long, 3–4.5 mm. broad.. Lip strongly recurved in the middle, sessile, ± distinctly 3-lobed, 11.5–15.5 mm. long, 8.4–11 mm. broad; side lobes erect, elliptic to rounded; mid-lobe triangular to triangular-subquadrate, 4–6 mm. long, 4–6.5 mm. broad at base, apiculate; callus central, fleshy, column subterete, 1–3 mm. long; foot 7–9.5 mm. long; pollinia ovoid.
