Characteristics

Plants 150–300 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 150 × 4–6 mm. Spike 50–100 mm, 8–25-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, green to reddish or blackish. Flowers widely spaced to moderately crowded, scented, 6.5–7.5 × 5–6 mm, green, brownish green, purplish green or reddish, labellum green to dark purplish, callus purplish to blackish. Dorsal sepal 5–7 × 3–3.5 mm, incurved to decurved. Lateral sepals free or fused at base, curved, each sepal 5.5–7.5 × 1.5–2 mm, parallel. Petals 5–7 × 1.2–1.5 mm, incurved. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, broad at base, 4.5–5.5 × 3–4 mm, sharply recurved and constricted near middle, ending in tapered tail-like section, distal margins entire or slightly irregular. Callus broad, tapered, fleshy, wrinkled, extending nearly to labellum apex.
