Characteristics

Plants 600–900 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 350 × 7–10 mm. Spike 100–180 mm long, 10–60-flowered. Ovary sessile, long, green, appressed to stem. Flowers well-spaced to crowded, strongly scented, 16–20 × 12–15 mm, greenish, yellowish or brownish with reddish stripes, labellum lamina crystalline white, callus yellowish green. Dorsal sepal 8–10 × 3–4 mm, decurved. Lateral sepals erect, usually fused, each sepal 8–10 × 3 mm. Petals 6–8 × 3 mm, spreading or incurved. Labellum sessile, sharply recurved near middle, 8–11 × 2.5–4 mm, margins intensely wavy/crinkled. Callus raised, channelled, extending well past labellum bend, ending in 2 raised bumps.
