Characteristics

Plants 250–400 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 120 × 3–4 mm. Spike 50–90 mm long, 15–30-flowered. Ovary sessile, bright green, shiny. Flowers crowded, scented, 11–14 × 8–11 mm, pale tawny green to brown, lamina tawny or pinkish, callus green. Dorsal sepal 6–7.5 × 3–3.5 mm, strongly recurved, often twisted or recurved. Lateral sepals free, 6–7.5 × 2 mm, obliquely erect, parallel. Petals 6.5–7.5 × 1.5 mm, upswept, distal margins crenulate. Labellum shortly stalked, broadly ovate-lanceolate, erect shallow sigmoid curve or nearly straight, 5.5–6 × 4–4.5 mm, margins slightly wavy or with fine irregularities. Callus broad at base then constricted, thick, smooth, extending just beyond labellum bend.
