Characteristics

Plants 200–400 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 120 × 4–6 mm. Spike 70–120 mm long, 12–30-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, bright green. Flowers well-spaced to crowded, scented, 12–14 × 6–8 mm, yellowish green, reddish or brownish with red-brown stripes, labellum pink, red or white, callus green or red. Dorsal sepal 7–9.5 × 3–4 mm, decurved. Lateral sepals basally fused or free, each sepal 8–10.5 × 1.5–2 mm. Petals 6.5–8 × 1–1.3 mm, incurved. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, 6.5–8 × 3.5–4.5 mm, sharply recurved near middle, base broad, sharply constricted near middle, tapered or tail-like to apex, distal margins slightly irregular. Callus raised, fleshy, extending nearly to labellum apex.
