Characteristics

Plants 50–140 mm tall, flower stem sometimes deep red. Base of stem red. Free part of leaf 50–150 × 1–2 mm. Spike 10–30 mm long, narrow, 3–15-flowered. Ovary sessile, humped, prominently swollen, projecting at wide angle. Flowers widely spaced, lightly scented or unscented, 3–4 × 2–3 mm, yellowish green to green, sometimes with red tints or red margins on segments, labellum green, callus green or red. Dorsal sepal 2–2.5 × 1.2–1.8 mm, decurved. Lateral sepals fused in basal half then free, each sepal 2.5–3 × 0.8 mm, with short blunt tips. Petals 2–2.5 × 1.2 mm, porrect to spreading. Labellum sessile, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, sharply recurved above middle, 2–2.5 × 1.5 mm, fleshy, apex recurved. Callus broad at base then narrowed, greenish, extending nearly to labellum apex.
