Characteristics

Sturdy robust species. Plants 300–500 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 150 × 6–10 mm. Spike 60–100 mm long, 10–40-flowered. Ovary sessile, green. Flowers crowded, scented, 12–14 × 14–16 mm, light greenish, petals crystalline white (base with reddish stripe), labellum crystalline white, callus yellowish green. Dorsal sepal 8–12 × 4 mm, decurved, with 3 to 5 darker veins. Lateral sepals free, 8–12 × 2.5 mm, widely divergent. Petals 8–10.5 × 3 mm, spreading. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-oblong, 9–12 × 6–7 mm, recurved in semi-circle, distal margins strongly folded and wavy/crinkled. Callus fleshy, with smooth white margins, ending just beyond labellum bend, apex deeply notched.
