Characteristics

Plants 300–500 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 250 × 3–7 mm. Spike 100–200 mm long, 10–35-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, green. Flowers well-spaced to crowded, lightly scented, 12–15 × 6–7 mm, greenish brown to reddish brown, labellum dark red-brown, callus green. Dorsal sepal 6–7 × 3–3.5 mm, decurved. Lateral sepals free, 8–9 × 1.5–2 mm, parallel, papillate to warty. Petals 5.5–6.5 × 1.3 mm, spreading to incurved, blunt. Labellum shortly stalked, broadly elliptical, 5–6 × 4.5–5 mm, recurved near middle where contracted and ending in short tail. Callus broad, fleshy, ending just beyond labellum bend.
