Characteristics

Plants 150–300 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 100 × 3–5 mm. Spike 60–90 mm long, 10–20-flowered. Flowers well-spaced to moderately crowded, 10–15 × 7–10 mm, wholly greenish to brownish, scented. Dorsal sepal 6–9 × 3–4 mm, porrect. Lateral sepals free, 6–9 × 3 mm, erect and recurved. Petals 5–8 × 1.8 mm upswept, pointed, with brown median band. Labellum ovate-lanceolate, sharply recurved near middle, 5–8 × 3.5–5.5 mm, margins often pinched in to level of callus. Callus fleshy, shiny, wing-like at base, extending nearly to labellum apex.
