Characteristics

Plants 200–500 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 200 × 3–5 mm. Spike 60–900 mm long, 10–35-flowered. Ovary sessile, green or purplish. Flowers moderately crowded, scented, 12–15 × 5–8 mm, greenish, reddish brown, purplish or brown, labellum pink or purplish, callus green. Dorsal sepal 6.5–7.5 × 3.5 mm, incurved to decurved. Lateral sepals free or fused at base, 6.5–7.5 × 1.5 mm, parallel, tips bidentate. Petals 5.5–6.5 × 1 mm, incurved. Labellum sessile, ovate-lanceolate, 7–9 × 3.5–4.5 mm, sharply recurved near middle, margins irregularly wavy, often pinched in to level of callus. Callus raised, fleshy, shiny, extending nearly to labellum apex.
