Characteristics

Plants 150–450 mm tall, flower stem wiry. Free part of leaf to 100 × 1–2 mm. Spike 30–90 mm long, 10–30-flowered. Ovary stalked, narrow, green, sparsely warty. Flowers widely spaced, mostly remaining cupped, unscented, 5–7 × 5–7 mm, pale greenish yellow or brownish yellow with dark lines, labellum white, callus green with white margins. Dorsal sepal 6–7 × 3 mm, incurved. Lateral sepals free, 6–7 × 2.5 mm, parallel to widely divergent. Petals 6–7 × 2 mm, incurved to spreading, blunt. Labellum sessile, elliptical, obliquely erect, 5–6 × 4–4.5 mm, sharply recurved near blunt apex, base humped or pouched and protruding through lateral sepals, distal margins folded and wavy/crinkled. Callus broad at base then a narrow central band nearly to labellum apex, margins white.
