Characteristics

Plants 300–800 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 150 × 5–9 mm. Spike slender, 100–220 mm long, 15–35-flowered. Ovary sessile, long, green, appressed. Flowers not crowded, strongly scented, 14–18 × 7–10 mm, yellowish to greenish with reddish or purplish stripes, labellum lamina white or bluish, callus green or red. Dorsal sepal 6–8 × 2–2.5 mm, incurved to decurved, often with green margins. Lateral sepals fused, each sepal 6–8 × 1.5 mm, erect behind labellum. Petals 6–7 × 2 mm, spreading to incurved, often reddish with green margins, pointed. Labellum thickly stalked, recurved sharply near middle, 8–10 × 4–5 mm, margins wavy to crinkled. Callus base broad then tapered, extending nearly to labellum apex as a narrowing fleshy plate.
