Characteristics

Plants 200–400 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 150 × 2–5 mm. Spike 50–100 mm long, 10–30-flowered. Ovary sessile or shortly stalked, green. Flowers well spaced to moderately crowded, strongly scented, 12–15 × 8–10 mm, tawny greenish brown to dark brown, labellum pale green to pinkish, callus brown. Dorsal sepal 4.5–5.3 × 2–2.5 mm, decurved or recurved, with 3 to five darker veins. Lateral sepals free, 7–8.5 × 1.4 mm, straight, erect, parallel. Petals 4.5–5 × 1 mm, widely divergent, with dark central vein. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, 4.5–5.5 × 3.5 mm, sharply reflexed near middle, distal margins entire or slightly irregular. Callus broad, fleshy, shiny, extending nearly to labellum apex.
