Characteristics

Plants 150–350 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 130 × 4–7 mm. Spike 30–70 mm long, 5–15-flowered. Ovary sessile, green. Flowers crowded, lightly scented, 11–13 × 5–6 mm, brownish or greenish, labellum dark purple or pink, callus green to purple. Dorsal sepal 5–7 × 2.5–3 mm, decurved. Lateral sepals free, 7–8 × 2 mm, erect, parallel. Petals 5–6 × 1.5 mm, incurved, with a dark line. Labellum sessile, ovate-lanceolate, 4.5–5.5 × 3–3.5 mm, sharply recurved at right angles near middle, strongly papillate, margins wavy/crinkled. Callus papillate, extending past labellum bend.
