Plants 150–250 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 100 × 2–4 mm. Spike 30–70 mm long, 3–12-flowered. Ovary sessile, green, turgid. Flowers not crowded, not much larger than turgid ovary, strongly scented, 4–6 × 4–6 mm, green and reddish brown, petals pink to purplish, labellum pink to purplish, callus brownish. Dorsal sepal 4–5 × 2.5–3 mm, decurved. Lateral sepals free, 4–5 × 1.5–2 mm, erect, slightly divergent. Petals 3–4.5 × 1 mm, porrect to spreading, tips purplish, apical margins with few short hairs. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, 4–4.5 × 2.5 mm, recurved near middle, papillate, margins irregularly crinkled and papillate. Callus c. 1 mm long, thick, fleshy, raised, shiny, grooved, ending after labellum bend, margins and apex papillate.
Localised and disjunct; found growing in Callitris woodland, mallee scrub, broombush and heath in freely draining yellow sand and loam over terra rossa limestone.
