Characteristics

Plants slender, 300–400 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 200 × 3–5 mm. Spike 70–120 mm long, 10–30-flowered. Ovary sessile, long and turgid at flowering time. Flowers well-spaced to crowded, lightly to strongly scented, 10–13 × 6–8 mm, green or reddish brown, labellum pink or purple, callus purplish green. Dorsal sepal 5–7 × 2.5–3 mm, recurved, with 3 darker veins. Lateral sepals free, 5–7 × 1.3–1.8 mm, erect, nearly parallel. Petals 5–6 × 1.3–1.5 mm, porrect to spreading. Labellum sessile, ovate, 4.5–5.5 × 3.5–4 mm, sharply recurved near middle, papillate, margins irregularly crinkled. Callus fleshy, densely papillate, extending just past labellum bend.
