Leaf 50–250 × 3–7 mm; free part erect, often longer than base. Spike 20–50 mm long, 10–80-flowered. Flowers crowded, 6–8 × 5–6 mm, brownish purple and pink or white, strongly scented. Dorsal sepal narrowly oblong, 5.5–6.5 × 2 mm, apex acuminate. Lateral sepals obovate, concave, 6–7 × 4.5 mm, each sepal 6–7 × 1 mm. Petals narrowly spathulate, 6.5–7 × 2–2.5 mm, incurved to spreading, with purplish band. Labellum wedge-shaped, narrow with broad apex, 6.5–7 × 3 mm, recurved gently near middle; distal margins irregularly crinkled and toothed. Callus thin, lobed, ending just beyond labellum bend.
