Characteristics

Plants 200–520 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 200 × 2–6 mm. Spike 40–70 mm long, 10–25-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, green, shiny. Flowers densely crowded, unscented, 9–11 × 6–8 mm, purplish brown, petals white and purplish, labellum white, callus yellowish green. Dorsal sepal 5–6.5 × 3–3.3 mm, decurved, with 3 darker veins. Lateral sepals fused (occasionally breaking free), each sepal 6.5–7 × 1.7–2 mm. Petals 7.5–8 × 1.6–1.8 mm, slightly spreading. Labellum sessile, broadly oblong, 7–8.5 × 3.6–4 mm, sharply recurved near middle, distal margins strongly wavy/crinkled. Callus raised, fleshy, ending just beyond bend, notched, papillate.
