Characteristics

Plants 500–80  tall. Free part of leaf to 200 x 6–8mm. Spike 60–22  long, 12–25-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, green, shiny. Flowers widely spaced to moderately crowded, lightly scented, 9–12 x 8–10mm, greenish-brown, petals white, labellum white, callus green. Dorsal sepal 7–8 x 3.5–4mm, decurved. Lateral sepals free, 7–8 x 2mm, obliquely erect, widely divergent. Petals 7–8 x 2mm, widest near apex, blunt, mostly spreading. Labellum sessile, narrowly oblanceolate, sharply recurved near middle, 8–9 x 3.5–4mm, distal margins densely wavy/crinkled. Callus fleshy, channelled, ending just beyond labellum bend, apex broadly notched.

Environment

Known from only a single locality but locally common, growing in open woodland dominated by large old manna gums with a dense understorey of irongrass tussocks or sagg (Lomandra longifolia). Soil is well-drained sandy loam.
