 long, 15–35-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, green. Flowers moderately crowded, widely opening, lightly scented, 10–12 x 6–8mm, greenish-brown, whitish or pink, labellum whitish to bright pink, callus green to yellowish. Dorsal sepal 6.5–8 x 3.5–4.5mm, decurved or recurved. Lateral sepals free, 7.5–9 x 2–2.5mm, nearly straight, nearly parallel. Petals 6–7 x 1.8mm, porrect, blunt. Labellum sessile, ovate-lanceolate, 5.5–6.5 x 4–4.5mm, tapered to apex, sharply recurved near middle, margins wavy/crinkled. Callus broad, raised, grooved, shiny, extending past labellum bend, apex raised, thick, grooved.

Highly localised and restricted to margins of permanent swamps and bogs growing among sedges and rushes in wet brown to blackish peaty loam.
