Characteristics

Plants 100–20  tall. Free part of leaf to 100 x 3–5mm. Spike 40–8  long, 3–12-flowered. Ovaries stalked, turgid, warty (sometimes smooth). Flowers well-spaced, lightly scented, 7–11 x 5–8mm, greenish with brown tints, labellum greenish-white or pinkish, callus green. Segments thick-textured. Dorsal sepal 5–7 x 2.5–3mm, incurved. Lateral sepals free, flat, 5–7 x 1.5–2mm, erect to recurved, parallel or slightly divergent. Petals 5–6 x 1.5mm, porrect to spreading. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, 4.5–5.5 x 3–3.5mm, sharply recurved near middle, sparsely papillate, margins irregularly crinkled and papillate. Callus broad, flat, margins sparsely papillate, extending well past labellum bend.
