Characteristics

Plants 200–40  tall. Free part of leaf to 150 x 3–6mm. Spike 60–10  long, 5–20-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked. Flowers moderately crowded, unscented or lightly scented, 15–18 x 5–7mm, greenish, greenish-purple to brownish, labellum whitish, mauve, pale purple or pink, callus green, yellowish-green or purple. Dorsal sepal 6.5–8.5 x 4mm, decurved, with three darker veins. Lateral sepals free, 7.5–9.5 x 2mm, obliquely erect, nearly parallel. Petals 7–8 x 1.6mm, porrect, with a darker band. Labellum sessile, ovate-lanceolate, 7–8 x 3.5–4mm, recurved near middle, constricted, above middle, distal margins weakly wavy/crinkled. Callus extending three-quarters of way to labellum apex.
