Characteristics

Plants 300–600 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 150 × 4–6 mm. Spike 100–150 mm long, 10–50-flowered. Ovary sessile. Flowers crowded, opening widely, scented, 17–20 × 9–12 mm, pale green to greenish pink, becoming pink-tinted with age, labellum white or pink. Dorsal sepal 8–10 × 3.5–4.5 mm. Lateral sepals usually fused, becoming free with age or remaining fused at base, 8–12 × 2–2.5 mm, parallel, recurved. Petals 7–9 × 1.3–1.6 mm, porrect to spreading. Labellum shortly stalked, broadly ovate-lanceolate, 6–8 × 4–4.5 mm, sharply recurved near middle where often constricted, tapered to apex, margins wavy to irregular. Callus raised, shiny, wrinkled or with bead-like glands, extending nearly to labellum apex.
