Characteristics

Plants 250–40  tall. Free part of leaf to 150 x 3–6mm. Spike cylindrical, 50–8  long, 10–40-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, bright green, shiny. Flowers densely crowded, opening very widely, lemon-scented, 8–10 x 6–8mm, pale green with pink suffusions, labellum pinkish to mauve, callus green. Dorsal sepal 5–6 x 2.5–3mm, decurved or recurved. Lateral sepals free, 5–6 x 1–1.4mm, erect or recurved, parallel. Petals 5–6 x 1mm, widely spreading, with strongly recurved tips. Labellum shortly stalked, obliquely erect to erect, ovate-lanceolate, 4–4.5 x 3–3.5mm, recurved at a shallow angle near middle, margins slightly crinkled. Callus fleshy, channelled, extending nearly to labellum apex, smooth or sometimes with few papillae.
