Characteristics

Plants 200–30  tall. Free part of leaf to 150 x 4–6mm. Spike 70–12  long, 5–25-flowered. Ovary shortly stalked, green. Flowers well-spaced to moderately crowded, scented, 7–10 x 5–8mm, pinkish, green or orange-brown to reddish-brown, petals with pale margins, labellum pink, tan or orange (rarely white), callus green. Dorsal sepal 5–6 x 3–3.5mm, incurved. Lateral sepals free, 6.6–7.5 x 2–2.5mm, erect and recurved, parallel. Petals 5–5.5 x 1.5mm, porrect to incurved, blunt. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, 5–6 x 4.5–5mm, sharply recurved near middle, constricted in distal third and ending in short tapered tail which has sparsely crinkled margins. Callus broad, shiny, deeply grooved, strongly and prominently raised, extending to labellum apex or just before.
