Characteristics

Plants 200–400 mm tall. Free part of leaf to 150 × 2–4 mm, tip withered at flowering. Spike 80–140 mm long, 6–18-flowered. Ovary sessile. Flowers moderately crowded, strongly scented, 14–18 × 8–11 mm green to reddish brown, labellum greenish, brownish or pink, callus green. Dorsal sepal 6.5–8 × 3–4 mm, with pale marginal bands. Lateral sepals free and parallel or fused, 6.5–8 × 1.4 mm, erect. Petals 6.5–7.5 × 1–1.2 mm, upswept to porrect. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, 6–7.5 × 3–3.5 mm, sharply recurved near middle, margins slightly wavy. Callus prominently raised, wrinkled, extending nearly to labellum apex.
