Characteristics

Plants 200–40  tall. Free part of leaf 200–350 x 7–10mm. Spike 50–8  long, 12–18-flowered. Ovary sessile, green, shiny. Flowers crowded, scented, 11–14 x 7–9mm, pale green to greenish-brown, labellum white with red to brown tints, callus greenish. Dorsal sepal 7–10 x 3–4mm, decurved, sometimes with brown central band. Lateral sepals fused basally, tips free, each sepal 7–10 x 2mm, parallel, erect behind labellum. Petals 5–8 x 1–2mm, upcurved, spreading, with dark central band. Labellum shortly stalked, ovate-lanceolate, 7–8 x 5–6mm, base broad, distally contracted to short, tail-like apex, shallowly recurved near middle, distal margins weakly wavy/crinkled. Callus very broad, fleshy, constricted near apex, extending just beyond labellum bend.
