Discovered by Irwin H. Bonds in 1976 as a chance seedling adjacent to a cultivated orchard near Manteca, Calif. Tests established in 1977. 7068; 12 Dec. 1989. Nut: ovate; soft shell; wellsealed; shelling percentage about 60%. Kernel: medium to large; somewhat broad; width-to-length ratio is 0.62; medium thick; few doubles; slightly bitter flavor.
