Origin: in Le Grand, Calif., by F.W. Anderson, Merced, Calif. Introd. in 1967. Plant patent 2880; 22 Apr. 1969; assigned to Reedley Nursery., Reedley, Calif. F2 seedling of Perfection; tested as Anderson 43P215. Tree: very productive and regular bearer. Fruit: size medium; oblong, unsymmetrical; skin medium thick, yellow, blushed and slightly mottled with red on sunny side; flesh yellow and very firm; excellent shipping and processing qualities; freestone; ripens 10 days before Pomo.
