A perennial hermaphrodite deciduous tree. It grows 2.5-4m high.
Origin: in Prosser, Wash., by T.K. Toyama, Irrigated Agr. Res. and Ext. Center, Washington State Univ. Introd. in 1989. Plant patent 7034; 19 Sept. 1989; assigned to Washington State Univ. Rival × P63-265 (Goldrich open-pollinated). Cross made in 1970; selected in 1974; tested as PA 7005-8. Fruit large; oval to round; skin has trace of blush on light orange background, attractive; flesh light orange, firm, moderately juicy; quality very good; ripens very early, 18 days before Wenatchee in Prosser; for fresh market.
