A late-ripening, black-red skin, yellow-red flesh Japanese plum. Origin: Le Grand, Calif., by L.G. Bradford. Freedom o.p. Seed collected 1998. USPP14,178 issued 23 Sept. 2003. Tree: large, vigorous, upright; very productive, heavy bloom with abundant pollen, self-infertile, midseason blooming, with Blackamber and Angeleno. Fruit: large, 68 mm diameter, 179 g, globose to slightly oblate; skin is blackish red; flesh light yellow-orange with abundant red flecking and streaking, very firm, crisp, very good flavor, 17% to 21% SS; cling; ripe second week of September.
