Tree: productivity fair to good; vigorous; light to moderate chilling requirement; similar to Burbank; self-unfruitful, successfully pollinated by Becky Smith, Duarte, Flaming Delicious, Gaviota, Santa Rosa, Wickson. Fruit: Japanese; large, sizing better than does Beauty, with an average weight of 6.2 fruit per lb.; round-oval to round-oblate, slightly asymmetrical, halves equal or nearly 50; stem short, rather stout; skin greenish-yellow to light amberyellow, bright, blushed medium red, to full red when completely ripe; bloom light grey, moderately heavy; dots numerous; flesh light or whitish to greenish-cream to light whitish-amber at full ripe, moderately sweet, mild, melting, juicy, very fine-textured; stone small, nearly completely free except at suture; very long storage; good holding characteristics both on and off the tree; reaches shipping maturity very early, about with Beauty, 15 days before Santa Rosa; resembles Formosa.
