Origin: in Santa Rosa, Calif., by Luther Burbank. Plant patent 18; 19 July 1932; by Elizabeth Waters Burbank, Executrix, Santa Rosa, Calif., assigned to Stark Bros. Nurseries & Orchards Co., Louisiana, Mo. Parentage unknown. Tree: vigor moderate; bushy; stiff upright branches. No longer propagated. Included here because of plant patent. Fruit: very large; cordate, unequal sides; skin smooth, glossy, golden with minute greenish dots, moderately thick; suture deep and distinctly marked; flesh deep chrome yellow, firm, melting, tender, quality excellent, freestone; stem short, stout.
