Fruit: oblong, compressed transversely; medium size, 44 mm; skin dark purplish-red, pubescent; flesh brilliant yellow, medium firm, flavor acidic unless very ripe, juicy; clingstone. In central California, ripens about 5 days before Red Beaut. Blossom: medium, white; blooms early; pollinated by Castlebrite apricot.
