An early season, black skin, amber-flesh Japanese plum. Origin: Wasco, Calif., by Bruce D. Mowrey, David W. Cain, and Terry A. Bacon. 90P-063 =(Suplumfifteen × Suplumeleven) × 91P-083; cross made in 1994. USPP 15,897; issued 26 July 2005; assigned to Sun World International, Inc. Tree: medium size; moderately vigorous; upright-spreading; heavy and consistent production; anthers yellow; blooms 27 Feb. to 2 Mar. in Bakersfield, Calif.; chilling requirement 650 h. Fruit: large, 66 mm diameter, 160 g; rounded oblate; skin black, medium thickness, mildly bitter; flesh amber; firm; crisp and juicy; 17-19% SS; semi-freestone; ripe 16 to 22 June, with Santa Rosa.
