An early-ripening, black-skin, red-flesh Japanese plum. Origin: Bakersfield, Calif., by B.D. Mowrey and D.W. Cain. 91P-001 o.p. Crossed in 1993 and selected in 1996. USPP13,167 issued 5 Nov. 2002. Assigned to Sun World International, Inc. Tree: medium vigor, semi-upright; good and regular production, midseason blooming. Fruit: large, 62 mm diameter, 112 g, oblate; skin is black; flesh red, slightly tart flavor, 15% SS; cling; ripe the first week of June, 2 weeks after Suplumtwentytwo and Flavorosa.
